The Pro Release Grip has a slightly smaller diameter at the shaft end which provides greater control for "dominant hand" players — typical among professionals and low handicap golfers — and minimizes "hand blocks" during swing. The grip's slightly smaller diameter is ideal for players with smaller hands, including women.
